Background on RAC:

The committee will meet ~1-3 times a year but members are invited to make comments, suggestions, and criticisms at any time. Our first official meeting will be in November 00. A forerunner to this committee met at UIC on 5/22/00 to review Chicago area fabrication facilities and plans. The rapid growth of the NCF user base is due to the NCF receiving and implementing great suggestions from the community on how our policies, facilities, ..., should be improved. This advisory committee will contribute to growth of fabrication capabilities in the greater Chicago area. Committee members will have an opportunity to review the non-proprietary research being carried out at the NCF and to develop close relationships with the NCF faculty. http://www.ncf.uic.edu/about/frpeople.asp
